Enqvist, formerly ranked fourth, has slipped to 72 after a series of injuries. But he appeared fit and relaxed at Memorial Drive on Wednesday.

Thomas Enqvist of Sweden upset seventh-seeded Florian Mayer of Germany 6-3, 6-3 on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Australian men's hardcourt tennis championships.

Roger Federer eased past Russia's Nikolay Davydenko 6-3, 6-4 on Friday to reach the final of the Qatar Open, where the world's top-ranked player will meet sixth seed Ivan Ljubicic.

"(Ljubicic) is in good form and it won't be an easy match, but I am not too worried about my opponent," Federer said. "I think I am in good form to win another final."

Ljubicic is chasing his second career title, having won an ATP Tour event at Lyon in 2001.

Federer completed an overpowering week here, routing No. 6 Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia, 6-3, 6-1, Saturday to capture the $1 million Qatar Open.

Ljubicic is seeded #2 in this tourny and Thomas Enqvist is unseeded.

I have been researching as much as I can here. Ljubicic seems an easy selection with his ranking and hard nose playing with Roger Federer, but I wonder if the hard indoor surface will affect the 6'6". Enqvist was ranked 7th in the world until some injuries, but is improving from what I read. He did upset the 7th seed in Aust, but that makes me wonder if he blew his load or is really on a upswing.

I've looked at other forums, read various news, and websites this morning. I am going to take a shot with T. Enqvist plus 205 at Pinnacle for 1 unit.

Good luck
